Welcome to the Euromeeting

Each year the Round Table and Old Tablers "9" clubs meet up in a different city. In 2027 it's our turn, and we're hosting you here in Saarbrücken, out in the west of Germany on the French border.

The week opens with an optional Pre-Tour for anyone who wants to arrive early and see a bit of Germany. The main event runs from Thursday to Sunday and features our iconic Home Parties, the Oldies Evening, the Banner Exchange and the Gala Night. Bring your club banner, and your partner if you're coming with one. Whether you're here for the full week or just the weekend, we're looking forward to seeing you.

We'll publish the full schedule closer to the event. For now, here's roughly how the week runs:

Pre-Tour · 3–6 May

Three days before the main event, and there's more to it than a quiet warm-up. Think proper German barbecue and plenty of local beer, some of it brewed by one of our own Tablers. There's adventure, a few challenges to take on, a lot of laughing, and time to catch your breath too. We'll keep the rest to ourselves for now.

Getting to Saarbrücken

By air. The closest airport is Saarbrücken (SCN), about 15 km out. Luxembourg (LUX) is roughly an hour away by car and Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN) about an hour and a half. Frankfurt Main (FRA) is the big international hub, around two to two and a half hours by train.

By rail. Saarbrücken is well connected: Paris is only 1 h 50 by TGV, with fast links across Germany.

Tell us your arrival details when you register and we'll help coordinate pickups and shared rides, so getting here stays cheap and easy.

Where to stay

Our favourite way to stay is home hosting: a local Tabler puts you up in their home, so you see Saarbrücken the way we live it. Tick the box when you register and we'll match you with a host.

Tickets & Registration

Pick a ticket, fill in your details and pay by card or bank transfer. Book by 31st of August 2026 for the early-bird price: 50 € off each ticket. The price includes all meals, drinks and entrance fees across the whole event, plus your accommodation if you choose home hosting. Bringing a partner? Add them when you register, at the same rate. An optional event shirt is available for €50.

Frequently asked questions

What’s included in my ticket?
Quite a lot. The price covers the full programme for the dates you book, including all meals, drinks and entrance fees across the Pre-Tour and the Euromeeting. If you choose to be home hosted, your accommodation is included too. The only things you arrange yourself are getting here, and a hotel if you'd rather not be home hosted.
Can I bring my partner?
Of course. Add them when you register and they pay the same rate. You can note their dietary needs and add a shirt for them if you like.
Is there an event shirt?
There is, for 50 €. Tick the box when you register and pick a size. You can order one for your partner too.
Is there an early-bird price?
Yes. Book by 31st of August 2026 and each ticket is 50 € cheaper: 449 € for the Main Event and 899 € for the Full Package. After that the regular prices apply.
What does “home hosted” mean?
A local Tabler puts you up in their home instead of you booking a hotel. It's a friendly way to stay and to get to know people. Tick the box when you register and we'll pair you with a host.
How do I pay?
By credit or debit card, which confirms your place straight away, or by bank transfer. If you go by transfer we'll show you our bank details and a reference, and you're confirmed once the money reaches us.
What should I wear to the Gala Night?
Black tie: a tuxedo or dark suit for the gentlemen, and an evening gown or elegant cocktail dress for the ladies.
Is there a registration deadline?
Yes. Registration closes on Sunday 21 March 2027, six weeks before the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than three months ahead (by 3 February 2027) and you get a full refund. Cancel after that but before 21 March 2027 and you get half back. In the final six weeks before the event we can no longer refund the ticket.
